In theory, Canada’s healthcare system is accessible, fair and free for everyone. Unfortunately, theory and practice are two different things. If you’re Indigenous, homeless, newly arrived with a precarious status, if you’re a sex worker or if you use drugs, you don’t get the same treatment as others. That is if you get any treatment at all.

For Médecins du Monde, we met with the people that our system marginalizes and we let them tell their stories for the public to hear. Full project coming soon.
